Training of Trainers (TOT) for Facilitation Skills

Course Details:

This course provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and awareness needed to effectively design and lead training activities in Aboriginal organizations and communities.

  1. Communication & Development of a safe learning environment
  2. Course design & needs assessment
  3. Adult learning theory
  4. Experiential learning methods & Preparation of learning objectives
  5. Group dynamics/group facilitation skills (including dealing with problem behaviours)
  6. Evaluation of learning.

  • Know the basic concept and differentiation among training, facilitation and presentation
  • Understand the basic and advance knowledge of training/facilitation

  • Get a complete guideline on how to prepare, conduct and report of a training program
