  • Perform hazardous energy control for industrial facilities as required by OSHA
  • Select appropriate personal protective equipment for a variety of applications
  • Apply the general requirements of electrical regulations and standards to establish an electrically safe work environment
  • Protecting employees who work on or near to electrical conductors and equipment.

After completing this course, participants will:

  • Be familiar with the basic concepts of electricity
  • Understand electrical hazards and electrical safety regulations
  • Be able to use of safe work procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Familiarize with updates to OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC and PPE improvements
